1. Verification standard
Before a home visit or controlled service assignment, Fleurs will provide the customer with sufficient appointment information to verify the attending person. This should include the assigned person’s name, the service or purpose, the date or time window and a job or appointment reference.
Customers should compare the person, photo identification and job reference with the information received directly from Fleurs before granting access.
3. Prohibited misrepresentation
No person may falsely state or imply that they are an employee, agent, contractor, technician, partner or authorised representative of Fleurs. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Using the Fleurs name, logo, identification, uniform, document, email style, job reference or customer information without authority.
- Creating a false profile, advertisement, quotation, invoice, receipt, appointment or communication in Fleurs’ name.
- Claiming authority to collect money, enter a residence, access the office, recruit personnel or bind Fleurs to an agreement.
- Misstating qualifications, licences, approvals, background checks, work history or the identity of the person who will attend.
- Continuing to represent Fleurs after authority has ended, been suspended or been withdrawn.
4. What customers should do
- Keep the door closed and do not allow entry where identity is uncertain.
- Do not provide cash, banking credentials, one-time codes, copies of identity documents, keys or alarm codes.
- Call Fleurs using the number published on this website—not a number supplied by the person at the door.
- Record relevant details only where it is safe and lawful to do so; do not confront, restrain or pursue the individual.
- If there is immediate danger, threatened violence, attempted forced entry or suspected criminal conduct, call the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service emergency number.
5. Reporting suspected impersonation
Send the date, location, description of the incident, name used, contact details used, job reference claimed and copies of relevant messages or documents. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information.
6. Investigation and response
Fleurs may suspend an assignment, withdraw access, preserve relevant records, notify affected customers, contact property management, seek legal advice and report suspected misconduct to the appropriate authority. Reports will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible, but information may be disclosed where required for safety, investigation, legal compliance or defence of rights.
A report made honestly will not result in retaliation by Fleurs. Knowingly false or malicious allegations are prohibited.
